I had a very productive meeting with the CEO of this Aerospace division yesterday and have a very interesting role for the right candidate.
This is a very big role, seven sites will fall under your remit, but I am still looking for a hands- on manager. Do not let the title "Director" fool you, this will be a very production orientated, change and people orientated role.
You do not necessarily have to come from the Aerospace sector; in fact a fresh pair of eyes from other sectors will be welcome!
You will need to be tenacious, have real credibility in what you say/ do, have multi site or large plant management experience. Some of your sites will be over seas, so again any international exposure will also be beneficial.
