OPERATIONS ANALYST
JOB TITLE: INCOMING STRUCTURED EQUITY DOCUMENTATON
DEPARTMENT: EQUITY DERIVATIVES DOCUMENTATION TEAM

This role is within the Dealer Incoming team, a team of 4, which is responsible for the execution of structured equity confirmations for transactions between the G15. This group belongs to the Equity Derivative Documentation Team (team of 30) which in turn is a part of Equity Derivative Operations. The Incoming team works alongside the Structured Drafting Team, the language team, the Market Initiative, Template and Onboarding team and the DTCC team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Chasing and executing structured equity confirmations for dealer to dealer trades
*Product range to include: structured single stock/index swaps, exotic share/index basket options & swaps, structured options and structured equity swaps linked to a note, bespoke equity transactions.
*Extensive exposure to traders, marketers, inter-office, legal counsel and clients to ensure coordination and clear communication internally and with our clients.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL:

Prior experience in a Structured Equity Derivatives ISDA language negotiation and chasing role.
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of ISDA terms and their application
Proven experience of working to FED targets in terms of drafting and execution of confirms.
Proven experience in liaising with traders, marketers and clients to resolve issues whilst ensuring client service is maintained and risks actively managed.
Proven ability to supervise a team, supporting junior members of staff
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Identifies and defines problems and solutions
Translates analysis into practical action plans and takes ownership for delivery
Refines approaches to effectively and efficiently perform tasks
Demonstrates sound judgment and act with speed
Moves quickly to eliminate roadblocks
