Operational Tax Management Specialist

For our client we are currently looking for a

OPERATIONAL TAX MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

for a temporary project assignment in Zurich, Switzerland.

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6MM++

YOUR TASKS:

- Responsible for the business analysis of tax topics such as Regulatory Tax Reporting (BTA, ESD, FATCA, QI), Client Tax Reporting and Tax Reclaims resulting from the new legal entity setup in Switzerland
- Understand the technical and operational impact resulting from the new setup from an operational tax perspective
- Identify potential operational tax risks and issues which have not yet been addressed and hand-in the necessary requirements in alignment with the stakeholders
- Advise the affected functions with regard to the tax technical design of operational tax relevant processes
- Develop a Business tool (eg End User Application) for BTA tax calculations within NewAG in cooperation with the stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME)

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Expertise in regulatory tax topics especially BTA including system implementation
- Several years of business analysis experience and sound knowledge of operational taxes across the different business divisions (Wealth Management, Investment Bank and Global Asset Management)
- Profound understanding of the front-to-back processes affected by operational taxes across the bank
- Profound knowledge of Investment Banking products. Delivery focused, high-energy, hands-on and independent team player
- University degree or equivalent certificate
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Access and Excel)
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in German and English (oral and written)
