T4S Solutions are partnered with a leading provider of IT Services who are looking to hire an Operational Security Manager in the Netherlands on a 6 month extendable contract assignment who is able to start work within the next 4 weeks.

Job Description

He/she would be accountable for security services across the account, defining local security strategy, identifying and adopting best technical practices to deliver an impeccable security service, and in alignment with the offshore Operational Security Manager.

An overview of the most important security related duties of the Operational Security Manager:

- To motivate the team of operational managers, auditors and administrators to constantly improve the quality of the security service being delivered to the account.
- To be a point of escalation of account and customer security issues.
- To take ownership of issues relating to the security policy and working practices across the Information Assurance Delivery Practice in Global Delivery Centers.
- To act as a point of contact for technical, operational and where applicable accreditation security-related issues affecting the customer and report to the CISO or customer as required.
- Monitor all aspects of Operational Security to ensure conformance with customer and their security requirements.
- Provide the account team with security advice and guidance.
- Attend and provide regular security meetings with customer and the CISO (if required) producing minutes and action plans.
- Ensure Operational Security input and governance is exercised over all new technical implementations, requests for service and changes to existing information systems.
- Maintain a security risk register escalating significant security risks to CISO where appropriate and undertake a review on an ongoing basis.
- Responsibility for ensuring Operational Security processes and operating procedures are maintained and developed in support of the account duties.
- Communicate responses to alerts and security incidents and undertake remedial actions where required.
- Liaise with customer, third parties and senior management teams on accounts to ensure their awareness of any Operational Security issues.
- Raise security awareness on the account with responsibility for new staff completing security induction training, a rolling programme of security awareness throughout the year and keeping the account informed of any changes to security policies, processes and procedures.
- Ensure all relevant security processes and work instructions are in place and reviewed.
- Ensure all security administration tasks are carried out in accordance with Security Operating procedures and work instructions.
- Provide security statistics and reports to the CISO and customer when required.
- Assisting in the organisation of the annual penetration testing as required and writing a response to the pentest report on behalf of Global Delivery Center to provide a plan to address vulnerabilities, taking ownership of remedial actions.
- To provide advice to other project related pentests undertaken on the account keeping abreast of any remedial actions that may be required.
- To take part in any account related internal or external security audits such as the AAR, ISO27001 and providing security information or audit evidence as requested at either account level or directly with the customer.

Key Performance indicators/Required skills:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in operations of SecurityIndia
- Solid understanding of IT
- Experience in working in complex environments
- Experience in working in a managed workplace environment
- Ability to handle changes in direction and work priorities with ease
- Positive and level-headed under pressure; adaptable
- English speaking, Dutch is a big plus
