For our client in Zurich, a globally operating bank, we are looking for anOperational Risk Officer
for an assignment until the end of the year
Are you energetic and motivated? Do you enjoy juggling lots of projects? We are looking for someone like this to:
- implement and monitor compliance with the firm's Operational Risk framework
- co-ordinate and manage risk identification and assessment across Group Finance
- manage and facilitate the documentation and on-going maintenance of key procedural controls
- review completeness and adequacy of key procedural controls
- capture and maintain the inventory of risk issues
- support remediation activities addressing risk issues, events or audit actions
- provide key stakeholders with timely and accurate reporting of all risk related items and events
YOUR TEAM
You'll be working in the Finance Operational Risk Management (FORM) team. We are responsible for supporting Group Finance functions globally to ensure all aspects of operational risk management are covered. So you can be working with a team in New York one day and London the next. And no two days are the same.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
YOU HAVE:
- 5 years of relevant experience in financial services
- worked in a similar position
- a strong knowledge of internal control design and operational risk management principles
- strong problem solving/analytical and influencing skills
- a good knowledge of MS Office
YOU ARE:
- proficient in English (verbal and written, as the role involves a lot of written documentation)
- proactive with an independent and flexible working style
- a great communicator who can speak to people at all levels
- an expert at building networks and connections
- a resilient team player with a positive attitude
