We are looking for an OPenVMS/MQSeries/Storage Operator
Required skills:
Good knowledge in Filetransfer and SSH Certificates;
Very good knowledge in DCL Scripting, OpenVMS v8.3 System Management and troubleshooting,
OpenVMS Cluster and Shadowing
Nice to have skills:
Good knowledge in IT incident/problem and change management processes

Job description:
Active system monitoring during business hours 07:00 - 17:30 (Watchdog)
On-call duty outside business hours
Handling requests regarding user creation/deletion or modifications
Handling all requests regarding printer queues; End user support regarding login and printing issues
System maintenance according to the IT specifications (eg DNS-Config adjustments, reboots etc.)
Regular BCM Failover Switches according to the IT specifications (3 times per year) Participate to the BCM-Excersice.
Daily check of backup status and necessary interventions Daily check of end of day processing and necessary interventions ; Regular disk space maintenance.
Collaboration with 3rd party engineers in case of hardware failures
General troubleshooting on the OpenVMS Systems/MQ
