Opening for Accounting Clerk

Performs daily accounting activities such as, maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
.Creation of various documents in SAP including Purchasing Requests, Service Orders, Sales Orders, Quotes documentation.
*Physical movement of parts required to facilitate the returned material process.
*Work Open work orders (Reactive, Proactive, Training and Projects)
*Work Open service sales orders
*Change/update project WBS elements
*Change customer service sales orders
*Assist in invoicing/closing work orders
*Assist SAP analyst with retrieving other operational data
*Utilize customer master file to search for customers and request creation of new customers in SAP.
*Verify correct ADN, BUC and FSR codes for internal work orders.
*Investigate and correct invoicing issues.
*Maintain all work order files for open jobs, closed jobs, invoicing and reports generated.
*Assist the field team in the use of SAP to track projects and sales orders, make revisions to projects and sales orders, and drop time to work orders. 

Qualification/Requirements:
*2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH SAP FOR PO, SERVICE ORDERS, SALES
*Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (level 8 out of 10)
*Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
*Strong organizational and prioritization skills
*Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Strong computer skills (MS Office, social networking, etc.)
*Imaginative, but process-driven mindset
*Demonstrated problem solving, decision-making, and time management skills
*Experience in SAP as a key user
*Familiarity with at least some of following SAP modules:
-Sales & Distribution (SD)
-Customer Service/Plant Maintenance/(CS/PM)
-Logistics Execution (LE)

*College Degree not required with proper work and computer experience
General:
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
Willingness to work flexible hours and some weekends required
