Onsite Recruiter - Strategic Resourcing

OVERVIEW:
Ensure the client has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute its strategy. Own and deliver continuous improvement in the Quality, Speed and Cost of Hiring for all personally assigned requisitions. Provide expert advice, data and recommendations to Hiring Managers to support key Resourcing decisions (temp or perm headcount decisions, job description definition, requisition based sourcing strategies, interview & selection, and offer construction). Key member of a highly proactive Resourcing function that delivers 600 - 1,000 hires per annum.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Resourcing Business Partners are responsible for delivering continuous improvement in the Quality, Speed and Cost of Hiring for all personally assigned requisitions.
* Present analysis of key headcount trending, recruitment and market data to inform local resourcing decisions
* Provide Hiring Managers with visibility of cross Divisional internal talent marketplace (Perm & Contingent)
* Act as intelligent customer in providing oversight of day to day performance of Thales Contingent RPO partner for all assigned contingent requisitions
* Coach Hiring Manager in the head hunting process, their role within it and how to interact with Passive Candidates
* Liaise with Hiring Managers to create appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to Passive candidates
* Personally assess candidates' competence, cultural fit and motivation through face to face interviews
* Manage the delivery of assigned and shared internal and external resources to ensure Quality, Speed and Cost targets are achieved

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* This is a hands on role that requires a business focused resourcing professional who is passionate about recruitment delivery and customer service
* Must demonstrate a clear track record of proactively sourcing a significant number of hires direct from the passive market using research techniques (both identification and approach)
* Will have spent a key portion of career in an Executive Search firm at Consultant level or higher
* Able to demonstrate in-depth understanding of current organisation/client's core business, organisation, strategic direction, challenges and aspirations
* Adept at setting and managing customers' expectations
* Able to positively influence at all levels of an organisation up to VP level, and to develop valued relationships with Hiring Managers and Candidates alike
* Experience of the Technology Market in the Defence sector is highly desirable
* In-house resourcing/recruitment experience
