Onshore Site Administrator

An Offshore Wind Operator is looking for an Onshore site administrator to complete a 2 year contract starting ASAP focussing on the site activity of an offshore wind farm. This role will be initially based at the organisation's headquarters in West Midlands, and then will continue on the South Coast for the remainder of the contract. The working week is Monday to Friday with occasional need for extended days; and the Onshore Site Administrator will report to Offshore Construction Manager.

WORK ROLE

The Site Administrator will work as part of a small site based team and will have responsibility for a broad array of administrative tasks. Site operations will continue from approx. November 2015 until early 2018.

- Any administration tasks that arise from time to time
- Electronically loading data onto a database (Think Projects)
- SAP administration
- PPE ordering and Issue
- Invoice tracking and assessment
- Basic electronic book keeping
- Formatting site based notes into reports
- Contractor time sheets management,
- stores inventories,
- safety inventories (inspection dates etc),
- assessment of routine invoices for package managers/engineers,
- marine coordination minutes/records,
- accommodation lists
- people transport and travel arrangements
- printing notices,
- Order for location/refreshments for meeting

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Proficiency in managing invoices and supporting documents
- A proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and associated software
- Significant experience in construction site office environment administration
- Experienced in contract related administration
- Experience in use of databases
- Experience of working in an offshore based industry

EDUCATION & TRAINING

A higher level (not necessarily degree level) educational qualification, trade qualifications will be considered, numeracy related preferred.
