Online Publishing Specialist

An opportunity has emerged for an online publishing specialist to join the Creative Services team in the Communications department. It is an exciting role for an individual with strong digital experience, creative flair and a contemporary knowledge of Intranet and publishing environments.

This position works closely with the multi-media and design team to produce, direct and create digital media that supports high profile communications activities.

The primary focus of the role is to deliver online publishing and technical advice. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, producing and implementing online design and publishing activities to support enterprise-wide communications activities. They will also work closely with the Editor and Social Media communications leads to drive a consistent, accessible and appealing environment for customer's to connect to the information they need every day.

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES

- A contemporary knowledge of digital media, publishing and design trends combined with a passion for the creative services area
- Technical skills in publishing to online environments using a variety of content management systems, experience with a range of multimedia tools including Adobe CS5
- A relevant communications degree and proven experience publishing online in large, busy and complex environments

A background in corporate communications is desirable but not essential
