Online Manager - Ecommerce

ONLINE ECOMMERCE MANAGER

CONTRACT | £150-£250 PER DAY

Handle are thrilled to be working with a high end contemporary art brand that are growing internationally. The products sit in the luxury price point and include original art, prints, books and merchandise from established and emerging artists. They are looking for a standalone Online Manager to grow sales and improve their online presence with rich content, increasing visitors and maximising the conversion rate across all digital marketing channels. The Online Manager will need to be an all-round E-commerce and digital marketing expert who has proven experience in improving online trading.

The Online Manager will have full control of the company's digital presence and has the opportunity to vastly impact the current and future success of the business, in an entirely autonomous role that has limitless potential and possibilities for growth.

There is limited budget so you will be expected to undertake all the tasks to deliver success. There is though a willingness to invest in initiatives to improve the online performance. You will need to set the strategy and build a business case. Key to this will be understanding the current situation; assessing user behaviour and site analytics to drive decisions.

The business uses a consultant for all their technical design and development and you will manage and review this relationship. You will also consider the support of 3rd party agencies and partners to assist in the delivery of your plans. They have a small mailing list that you will grow and develop. They are also keen to enhance the content on the site with video and editorial copy to engage with their audience and build loyalty.

To be effective in the role you must have the following:

- Experience in a consumer E-commerce environment in a trading role
- Experience using a wide range of all digital marketing platforms (SEO, PPC, Affiliate, Email Marketing, Display & Social Media)
- Significant web analytics experience, with google analytics
- Ability to create and implement long term online growth strategies
- Ability to influence decisions and justify your position
