Are you an internet-savvy person with a talent for communicating in a bold and concise manner? The Essex Police Media Department is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated online journalist to work every Friday.
Providing website and social media content on the activities of Essex Police you will need a recognised qualification in journalism and experience of generating and producing written and pictorial online content for a news based service or related media. You will also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the techniques and challenges of online journalism and have experience of working in a senior editorial capacity.
The role may also require occasional cover for other Press Office functions.
