Omnichannel Logistic Expert (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Design an overarching Omnichannel Supply Chain strategy. This enables the team to immediately act on customer demand through rapid, flexible, and dynamic services. The contract would be set up time and materials
- Conduct internal company analysis to provide omnichannel strategy recommendations based on company goals and customer focused vision
- Provide strategic guidance on the future approach to omnichannel distribution with consideration of the competitive landscape and industry standards
- Discuss and develop the middle mile and last mile approach to deliver goods to customer for a large-scale grocery retailer with an “anytime, anywhere” approach
- Conduct workshops with strategy team to identify the best way forward for development of the omnichannel strategy
- Design an overarching omnichannel distribution strategy focused on a “customer first” mentality
- Provide expert assessment based on the developed strategy regarding the technology stack, with emphasis on balancing efficiency of use with maximizing the customer experience. (We know there is some clean-up work here that needs to be conducted)
- Assist in the preparation of strategy analysis and alignment on this venture for presentation to the Senior Leadership Team
- Support in the transition from a legacy-driven, siloed approach to a unified approach with a standardized technology stack
- Assist in identifying any blind spots or lack of capacity/knowledge regarding omnichannel logistics within our existing systems and teams

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Relevant Logistics and Omnichannel experience
- Providing tangible experience of strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills required
- Prior experience working with a retail client in an omnichannel capacity is a strong plus
- Prior experience with reverse logistics, route optimization software, telematics, order management systems and omnichannel packaging are also a strong plus
- Required Skill language: German / English
