Offshore Windfarm Installation Engineering Manager

Contract - Offshore Windfarm Installation Engineering Manager, North Wales. Flexible on Day Rate.

I am currently working with a leading renewable energy company in the recruitment of an Offshore Installation Engineering Manager based in North Wales for a large scale offshore wind farm project.

During the offshore installation phase this role will involve both land and offshore based works in order to meet timescales and programme schedules. The role will also involve travel across the UK as time will be spent attending installation workshops and mobilisation meetings.

As an Offshore Installation Manager you will being responsible for all offshore activities, including all safety issues of the wind turbine generators. You will also be responsible for a number of Client Resident Engineers stationed on board the vessels as well as being the first point of contact for all installation issues that may have arisen.

Essential skills include:

Structural or mechanical engineering background

Offshore wind farm experience

Offshore lifting experience or significant understanding of practices

Desirable Skills Include:

Formal lifting qualifications

Danish Language
