ODI Developer/Architect

ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) Specialist required by leading Financial Services organisation in Paris

The ODI specialist role will be to provide an effective Senior Design service by:-
Ensuring the Business Intelligence Applications are fit for purpose and able to respond to the current and future needs

More specifically the job will involve:
- Assess requirements for completeness and accuracy.
- Determine if requirements are actionable for ETL/ODI team.
- Conduct impact assessment and determine size of effort based on requirements.
- Develop full SDLC project plans to implement ODI ETL solution and identify resource requirements.
- Perform as active, leading role in shaping and enhancing overall ETL ODI architecture.
- Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements.
- Assist and verify design of solution and production of all design phase deliverables.
- Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to ETL architecture.
- Resolve difficult design and develop issues.
- Identify bugs when developers are not able to do so
- Work closely with third-party suppliers to ensure that the team's development approach and standards are clearly understood and followed so that product delivery is of a high standard and can be successfully integrated into the Production Data Warehouse.

*Ensuring that they have the most up to date Standards documentation available to them
*Share your experience in the analysis, design, development and implementation of the Oracle BI toolset (including ODI) with other members of the team.
*Suggest areas where processes need improvement or further design to support efficient and high quality delivery to our customers.

What skills required?

Essential
*Proven experience of ODI ETL design/architecture, development and implementation
*Experience of Data Warehouse design, development and delivery.
*Proven track record of working with: ODI, Oracle 11g, SQL, Toad, Windows XP
*Experience with Datamodelling for analysis and reporting
*Data Warehouse performance tuning.
*OBIEE knowledge

Desirable
*Proven track record in developing in Cognos 10 including:
*Cognos DecisionStream/Cognos Data Manager
*Cognos Report Studio
*Cognos Framework Manager
*Cognos Transformer
