Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE (RN) to join our client in WESTBOROUGH, MA AND WALTHAM, MA.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO 2 SITES WITHIN 25 MILES APART, ON A BASIS OF 2 DAYS AT 1 AND 3 DAYS AT ANOTHER.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide support to integrated teams including occupational health professionals, employee assistance professionals, and wellness professionals
- Interact with other departments including Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Human Resources, and Site Management
- Provide nursing services and emergency (first-aid) treatments to employees who become ill or suffer an accident on company premise
- Under supervision of a physician, administers medications and performs various minor treatments or therapies for injured or ill employees
- Perform health evaluations and other services within the integrated employee Health Services & Resources strategy including but not limited to: health screenings, drug screenings, phlebotomy

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing or equivalent
- OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
- EMR
- Current state licensure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with worker's compensation claims management, medical records filing procedures, knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, appointment scheduling and compliance with OSHA regulations is preferred
- Emergency Care background or Primary Care background is a plus
