On behalf of our international client in the finance sector, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and motivated IT professional with solid experience as a Technical in-house Lead for a contract position in the heart of Zurich.
Start date: as soon as possible
It's a 6 month contract.
OBS TECHNICAL IN-HOUSE LEAD, ENGLISH (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
In this interesting role you will be the Technical in-house lead for the 3rd party application OBS and will be responsible to integrate the changed and new functionality of the OBS (Online Banking Solution) application used for the Swiss withholding tax agreements with Austria and Great Britain.
Your main tasks will include but not limited to:
- Production support and supervision of production support processes;
- Responsibility for incident, change, release and problem management processes;
- Defect analysis;
- Writing IT specifications and requirements for 3rd party software vendor;
- End user and 2nd level support;
- Analysis and specification of customer business and technical requirements;
- Parameterization and customization of the application OBS;
- Contributing to change and release management processes;
- System test and roll out of new functionality.
In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills:
- University degree or similar education in IT or Information Management;
- CODING EXPERIENCE IN ORACLE SQL
- Experience in leading small or medium sized IT teams;
- Good knowledge of financial instruments (bonds, funds, FX, etc.);
- Knowledge of the banking industry;
- Fluency in English, German skills are an advantage;
- Proactive and solution-oriented person who works well under pressure.
