Objectstar Developer

An excellent contract position is available for an experienced Objectstar Developer with a Federal Government Agency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

- All aspects of the software development life cycle of relational database computer systems, specialising in Objectstar and Cobol/IMS.
- Analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of on-line and batch Objectstar applications.
- Performing software development (including coding and unit testing), quality assurance testing and support of user acceptance testing, where required.
- Attending and actively contributing to workshops including those discussing technical designs.
- Working with the Development Manager to ensure delivery of the agreed deliverables within agreed timeframes.
- Performing regular peer code reviews to ensure code quality.

To be successful the candidate will demonstrate;

- Objectstar development experience.
- Experience Integration Technologies: JMS, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO BusinessWorks, etc.
