Obiee Developer

Our Central Government Client is currently looking for an OBIEE Developer to work on an initial 41 day contract. This role will be based in Leeds and is an immediate requirement.

As part of the Implementation of a new System, a Business Intelligence competency centre is being established to manage data, create adhoc reports and dashboards. This information will describe how the new business is functioning and performing. This role will be primarily focused on the producing of reports and dashboard in OBIEE based on the report specifications. Feedback will also be gained from end users and business analysts during this time and used to enhance/adapt the reports.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
Development of reports and dashboard in OBIEE based on report specifications and feedback from end users and business analysts

Skills/Experience Required
*Experience of developing reports in OBIEE
*Experience working with Data Warehouses

Evaluation Criteria
1. Experience of working with Data Warehouses in either development or test
2. Experience of OBIEE
3. Technical and Data management understanding, with the ability to communicate details of processes to both Technical and Business users
4. Ability to work in an environment where there may be incomplete knowledge of systems/processes and be able to work with internal partners and external suppliers to fill the knowledge gaps and complete the assigned tasks
5. Understanding and manipulating hierarchical data.
