NVIP Implementation Engineer

- INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

Our client is recognised as one of the global leaders in the resource sector with large IT operations in WA. They are looking to add to their engineering team and bring on an experienced Network Implementation Engineer

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Layer 3 Implementation Role
- Candidate should be comfortable receiving design documentation from a senior engineer and creating implementation documentation as well as implementing designed solution.
- Routing experience is preferred but not essential
- Edge Switching skills - VLANS, VTP, Spanning-tree, CDP
- Switch Models such as 3750's, IE3000's, 3560's
- Candidate should be able to produce support handover documentation
- Manage technical issues related to project implementation

SKILLS REQUIRED;

- CCNA (essential)/CCNP (highly regarded)
- Some experience with 6500's would be ideal.
- Experience with and ability to adhere to applicable policies, standards & solutions architecture
- Candidates, who are self-starters, have good communications skills and can follow instructions from design engineer will highly regarded.
