NVH Systems Engineer - Noise Cancellation (m/f)

Location:Area Regensburg
Type of contract:unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your key tasks:
You will be responsible for the continuous improvement and application of a range of advanced electronic-based NVH technology including Active Noise Control, Random Noise Control and Engine Sound Synthesis
You will lead systems development on multiple projects within local and global development teams You will analyze and investigate new noise management related technologies and best practices.
You will be the lead interface with OEM NVH teams to design, develop and continuously improve noise management systems and technologies
You will design and conduct trade-off studies to influence the design of vehicle noise management systems
You will develop and document noise management systems tools and best practices
You will perform sofware and hardware testing of development designs both on bench and in-vehicle.
You will apply Noise Management Solutions to solve customer NVH problems

Your profile:
University degree in Engineering
Min. about 5 years of professional experience in acoustics and/or NVH
Specific experience with vehicle NVH
Knowledge of noise cancellation, signal processing, acoustical engineering and/or psycho-acoustics
Experience with measurement and analysis tools such as ArtemiS or LMS
Experience in the use of microphones and accelerometers for acoustic and vibration measurements
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems including bus technology such as CAN
Knowledge of electronics laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators)
Ideally Knowledge of simulation tools or programming languages (e.g. Matlab, C, C++)
Fluent English language skills
