Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant Job

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in King of Prussia, PA.

- Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- To see, evaluate, diagnose and treat employees for various reasons related to their health
- Provide advice to nurses on treatment/disposition of employees seen in the health clinics for a variety of reasons
- See employees in the onsite health clinics to evaluate, diagnose and treat them for various health concerns
- Physical exams
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
- Determine medical diagnoses
- Prescribe medication and provide patient education
- Perform ergonomic assessments and recommend modified duty or work station modification
- Advise Short Term Disability (STD) case managers on physical rehabilitation of employees.
- Evaluate and make suggestions for job restrictions, job accommodations, and return to work after absence
- Counsel employees on personal protective equipment and safe working practices and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two plus (2+) years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA) in an occupational health setting or urgent care
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or for physician assistants, specific training in occupational medicine preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry
