Norwegian Environment Health and Safety Manager - PART TIME

My client is looking for a part time Environment, Health and Safety Manager for their large telecoms project. We are looking for someone who can fluently read, write and speak Norwegian. This post would be for 18-20 hours per week and you will serve as the EHS subject matter expert for project staff. The contract is for 12 months + extensions.

The project is setting up a nationwide telecoms network, including civil works and equipment installation.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Support project staff with Environment, Health and Safety services and ensuring all related regulations are met
- Develop and manage the existing EHS Management System
- Review and update risk assessments
- Identify and organise necessary trainig
- Manage and archive Safe Job Analysis Form Supplies
- Accident investigations when necessary
- Audit suppliers and construction site monthly
- Communication with customer and country management team

Essential experience:

- Ability to speak, read and write Norwegian fluently
- Strong health and safety experience
- A background working on major projects

Candidates with Norwegian health and safety certificates would be preferred, as would candidates with a background in construction (particularly electrical, tower safety).

This person must also have personal insurance in case of accident/injury.
