Non Ledger Automation Analyst

Non Ledger Automation Analyst/Banking/Bristol/contract

My client is a large banking institution that is currently looking for a non ledger automation analyst. The client is looking to extend the use of its Group SAP BFC capabilities. The main objective of the implementation is to introduce a consistent IT based process to facilitate Multi Basis Reporting and Consolidation.

You will be required to define the requirements and scope for automating non ledger feeds.

You must meet the following requirements:

- Qualified/Part qualified accountant
- 3 years experience of consolidation and reporting
- Reporting of Statutory and regulatory returns (experience of Life or General Insurance environments would be an advantage).
- Ability to quickly ascertain sources of data and to ascertain scope for automation of those sources.
- Sound accounting experience with integrating different ledger/non ledger systems
- Good analysis skills with ability to work x-functionally to define requirements
- Documenting issues and proposed solutions, and ensuring clarity across organisation.
- Working closely with IT to define automation possibilities and proposals

In addition candidate should have:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written skills (including report writing)
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving and issue resolution
- Ability to work in a Matrix environment
- Previous experience working in a large organisation
- Sound business acumen
