Node.js, Scala Developer - High Volume, Agile, BDD, XP - London - CONT

NODE.JS, SCALA DEVELOPER - HIGH VOLUME, AGILE, BDD, XP - LONDON - CONTRACT

We are urgently looking for a strong Agile Node.js Developer with excellent experience using Node.js and ideally some Scala experience to join this highly regarded investment bank in London, working with one of their leading Agile teams on a cutting edge project.

The successful Node.js Developer will have extensive commercial experience using Node.js and ideally some Scala experience (coming from a Java background would be great but appreciate this isn't normal with this skill mix). The project is predominantly Node.js but uses a little bit of Scala.

As a Node.js/Scala Developer, you will have an excellent understanding of Agile and will have working in solid Agile environments using TDD/BDD, Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment DevOps culture, etc.

KEY SKILLS:

- Node.js
- Scala (just an understanding will be enough)
- Coming from a Java background would be excellent but appreciate unlikely
- Finance experience not necessary
- Large scale, high volume, highly transactional applications
- TDD, BDD
- Agile (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming)
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, understanding of DevOps culture
