NOC Services Technician Job

NOC SERVICES TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in FORT LEE, VIRGINIA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support network and security operational services for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA).
- Will provide shift work in support of monitoring a 24x7x365 Operations Center.
- Perform network monitoring with various network and security tools
- Monitor, detect, analyze, investigate, report, and track network or security related incidents
- Support generation of metrics and reporting on a regular basis
- Provides support with installing, troubleshooting and maintaining the network
- Proactively monitor and track down anomalies, non-compliant systems, and other observed events that are detrimental to the overall security posture of the IT infrastructure
- Performing additional tasks or duties as assigned
- Follow the infrastructure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including problem resolution, escalation and notification
- Ensure all network configuration changes are performed in accordance with the Agency's Network Change Control Procedures

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two (2+) years experience in Networking or similar technical field
- AAS degree in Information Technology or similar filed of study
- Due to the sensitive nature of our clients work, all candidates must have and maintain a US Citizenship
