NHS Service Improvement Project Manager - Theatres

Practicus is currently partnering with an NHS Acute Trust who requires an NHS experienced Service Improvement Project Manager to assist in delivering three key initiatives in Theatres and support the operational teams to improve how they deliver the service.

The key responsibilities are to produce detailed project plans/proposals for two initiatives; Bowel Screening and Diabetic Ophthalmology as well as help improve Theatre utilisation within the Trust.

The ideal interim must be an NHS experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering projects within an acute environment. This role will involve working with senior stakeholders, general managers, clinical and non-clinical teams across Surgery and Theatres, therefore the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the operational pressures and challenges within the acute setting in key to building credibility and obtaining engagement. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills are crucial.
