IQ Public Sector require an NHS manager to be the lead for all surge capacity management issues of our CSU client.

You come from an operational management background and will ensure that an effective in hours and out of hours surge management service is available and delivered.

Acting as the first point of contact for all surge matters, the post holder will liaise with acute and community providers to gain a detailed understanding of surge pressures and will chair routine and ad-hoc meetings with senior representatives from the acute, mental health and community providers and local CCG's.

The candidate will be responsible for undertaking capacity planning work with local trusts within the CSU.

You will have experience of managing staff, managing the on-call system, as well as an operational background within the NHS.
