My NHS client, based in the West Midlands, are looking for a Payroll Consultant/Manager for a 6 month contract starting ASAP.

The Project outline is as follows:

JOB BRIEF:

Projects:

- Preparation for RTI.
- Assisting KPMG in preparing for Auto Enrolment
- Logic check of all permanent elements held against staff assignments
- Analyse and document the summary of all M&D and Snr Managementpayments
- Review operational Payroll monthly checking processes
- Be aware of and flag any Payroll tendering opportunities.
- Assist in compilation of bids.
- Lead in the preparation of due diligence,
- Manage the ESR set up for new payrolls ie liaise with McKesson/HMRC.
- Lead in the recruitment/TUPE of staff to deal with a new Payroll contract.
- Support ESR HR Data Team Leader in Establishment Control review and assist in the documenting of new procedures.
- Review alternatives to replace existing Payroll e-data storage system.
- Assist in training the newly appointed Pension Officer
