Sand Resources require a Capacity/Surge Manager for a 7 month post starting in mid to late October.

The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with capacity and surge requests within the NHS and will possess a strong operational background of managing capacity planning services.

You will have experience of working within an acute capacity environment and ideally, you will have a good understanding of surge/capacity within A&E.

This role will be coordinating the requests of multiple CCG's within London, so although it is not a hands-on role, you will have experience working with service managers and will be able to understand their needs/requirements.

You will need to understand Ambulance Diversion procedures as well as an overall knowledge of the challenges of capacity management in the NHS in winter time.

Essential Experience:
- Surge/Capacity management experience, ideally within an acute environment
- A&E experience and an understanding of Ambulance Divert procedures
- Operational Management experience
- Winter/Surge planning
- Report writing
- Managing an On-Call rota
