NHS Health Economist

The Health Economist position is an opportunity for an experienced professional with a health economics/modelling background to play an integral role in a small project team. Managing health economic activity and contribute to clinical guideline development across a range of corporate departments. The Health Economist is there to examine the feasibility of certain public health services.
Key skills will include:
- Cost-effectiveness modelling
- Budget impact modelling
- Systematic reviewing
- Evidence synthesis - mixed treatment comparisons/multiple-treatments meta-analysis
A suitable candidate must hold a minimum of two years health economics experience, gained within a consultancy, academic research or the health sector. Previous NHS experience would also be advantageous.
