We currently have a great opportunity for New Neighborhood Officer to join us on an initial one year contract; located in Newbury.

You will meet the challenge of shaping new communities by being the key link between housing teams, residents and partners to embed good neighbour relations, develop new services, activities and support the growth of a new community fostering strong community spirit.

Using your strong communication skills you will develop networks to support these new communities as well as being able to accurately report your activity via quarterly reports and by meeting the aims of Sovereign's Community Investment Strategy.

You will be a self-starter with the ability to generate your own work load by proactively planning initiatives to support the aspirations of residents. This will require you to have experience of project management, managing small budgets, and creative thinking to find solutions to problems and issues either anticipated or as they arise.
