NETWORKS INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION DESIGNER/CISCO - SC CLEARED  

DURATION: Initial 3 months

LOCATION: Salisbury

Steria Recruitment Ltd (a Steria company) provides recruitment and resourcing solutions to Steria, a leading European IT service provider. Steria require 2 Security Cleared Infrastructure Solution Designerto join a large and very professional team working with cutting edge technology in a complex environment.

The Networks Infrastructure Solution Designer will be responsible for the designing of the secure Cisco networks for one of Steria's major clients.

The role will be based near Salisbury and requires a current SC security clearance.

NETWORKS INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES

- To design and document solutions to the requirements laid down by the P3MO and the Architecture team, in accordance with the Quality Management System
- To ensure solutions are implemented in such a way to ensure full acceptance and handover to the relevant support teams
- This role has no direct reporting but is expected to act as a technical mentor/leader and will be expected to disseminate SME knowledge throughout the account

NETWORKS INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION DESIGNER ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Extensive experience working with Cisco networking products
- Extensive experience designing secure networks
- Extensive experience with Firewall/VPN technologies from multiple vendors
- Cisco CCNP (Desirable)
- Automation
- Experience working with secure network environment/s
- Excellent problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure

NETWORKS INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION DESIGNER DESIRABLE SKILLS

- ITIL Foundation
- Experience of being technical lead on a project
