Networking Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Work with Network Services and site leads to gather requirements and implement solutions using F5 load balancing LTM and APM Viprion modules.
- Provide necessary operational support for Cisco Network environment including Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless LAN controllers and APs.

SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:

- This candidate must have advanced knowledge of the F5 Viprion solution with a focus on Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Access Policy Manager (APM) with a firm understanding of iRules.
- Advanced F5 Viprion Load balancer Experience (LTM and APM modules with iRules understanding an absolute must)
- Core networking understanding is necessary ( ie Cisco LAN/WAN switching/routing)
- Understanding of Firewall concepts.
- Experience with DNS/Internet name resolution
- Strong communications and documentation skills a must
- Ability to use SharePoint and other basic office software applications
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Domain Name Systems (DNS)
- Load Balancing
