Network Tech Lead

Duties/Responsibilities:
*Technology leader capable of supporting the technical component of all phases of business pursuit from conceptualization and initial technical presentations, supporting opportunity qualification, and providing solution support in proposals.
*Apply technical and enterprise business knowledge and experience to coordinate the architectural design, development, implementation and support of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies.
*Work with both corporate and customer senior leadership to research, analyze, and implement enterprise or system-wide network solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.
*Analyze existing customer architectures, Business, and Enterprise Information Environment (EIE) processes, and IT to identify mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls; determines and recommends architectural, IT, or process solutions.
*Manage WAN, LAN, CAN, and remote network transport operations and incident and problem management.
*Responsible for staffing of Network Operations Center (NOC) and implementing a work center qualification program.
*Responsible for development and execution of test plans of all network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions for customer approval before implementation.
*Support network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts to ensure performance and availability objectives are met IAW contract requirements.
*Evaluate and report on new network/communication technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Qualifications

Education/Training:
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
*Required Certifications: CISCO certified CCNP or CCDP, ITIL v3 Foundations certification, PMI PMP certification

Experience Required:
*10 years related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies, tools, and techniques
*5 years program/project management experience with large-scale network architectures supporting the US Intelligence Community, particularly with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
*5 years experience designing/managing operational large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment
*Understanding and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions
*Proven experience developing and maintaining DoD-compliant network architectures
*Experience in providing status reports and products to senior management and customers
*Experience with network architecture tools with particular emphasis on the ability to produce complex
