Network Support Engineer Level 2-3, Lausanne

Our client is currently looking for a Network Administrator with experience of Microsoft technologies, Cisco, Symantec, VMWare and NetApp as well as some Apple applications to work as part of a small team to support their ever-growing network.

With a good level of French and English, you will monitor network resources including Servers and storage arrays, backup systems, Switches, wifi, Internet connectivity and central management systems. You will also be responsible for implementing new network infrastructure, installations and upgrades across the network.

Taking ownership of level 2 and 3 issues within the network environment, you will monitor performance of the network, maintain security (anti-virus, Firewalls, network access) and ensure that all licencing and security certificates are up to date.

With a view on future innovations, you will map the network topology, maintain domain name registry and manage new software and hardware purchases as well as help develop the network plan and budget for the following year.

A confident communicator, able to work with a different range of user levels providing an excellent level of service to the user base, learning and advising on new technologies.
