NETWORK Support Engineer (CISCO ISE, CNPP, WLAN/VOIP/VIDEO)
to work together with the on-site team in a complex technical environment, full of interesting technical challenges and new technologies and to be responsible to undertake complex tasks with the team and for providing technical support and advice to others.
Tasks:
Design deployment and troubleshooting of Qos
ISE (Cisco Identity Services Engine) configuration and services
Design end user LAN's for big sites and business centres
Make necessary config. files for all components involved
Installation onsite if necessary
Demonstrate expert technical support knowledge and/or assist in the analysis of complex hardware and/or software related network problems "on site" or on the phone
Make necessary network traces
Write and update procedures for 1st & 2 line VIDEO/Voice/LAN support
Draw and update network drawings
Liaise with Problem management, manufacturers and/or vendors during problem resolution
Troubleshooting VOIP/Lan
Ensure that all out of line operational issues are escalated in accordance with company technical escalation process
Monitor adherence to technical and quality standards for own area and ensure full compliance with established procedures
Ensure the delivery of cost effective and quality services in line with our contractual obligations thereby achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
Identify and act on opportunities to improve existing processes and work methods, implementing changes as appropriate
Liaise with key customers, account managers and colleagues, providing technical guidance and advice in support of a customer issue
Skills and knowledge:
Hands-on experience with ISE configuration and services (must)
Previous experience on providing technical know-how and input on more complex issues on WLAN/VOIP/VIDEO
CCNP Certified/or equivalent through relevant experience
Ideally trilingual (FR/NL/EN) or two of these languages
Educational background in IT + 4-5 years of relevant work experience
