LENGTH OF CONTRACT - 7 months
START DATE - February
The client has a person leaving the team at the end of February & need to replace this position. Below is the some information regarding skills. The manager said that they would prefer a candidate that is strong with Juniper skills, but CISCO is very important also.
The role is primarily support & dealing with Tickets. They will also be supporting some of the engineers doing project work.
SUPPORT NETWORK ENGINEER:
Network Engineer to provide operational support for our Corporate Network. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 7 years engineering and operational experience in the design, implementation, and running of global multi-site network environments. Knowledge of WAN, LAN, Internet, remote access, security systems (Firewalls and VPNs), and POS systems in a distributed, international environment is desired.
Must have very strong experience with complete Cisco network product lines and technologies: IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, switching (spanning tree, 802.1Q, etc.) and routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
Juniper and Netscreen platforms (MX, SRX, SSG
802.11 wireless networking protocols and deployment.
Other experience should include MPLS, VoIP, UNIX (OS X, Linux), load balancing
Candidate must be able to work in fast paced and dynamic environment with ability to multi-task, design and deliver solutions in a complex environment. Must be a collaborative and team player and have a sound business-minded approach to design and service solutions.
Desired certifications and skills:
CCNP/CCIE/JNCIS/JNCIE/UNIX
The manager wants a PURE SUPPORT CONSULTANT, that JUST DOES SUPPORT AND TROUBLESHOOTING.
