Network Security Engineer (WAN)

We are currently looking for an experienced WAN Security Engineer in Brussels to design and troubleshoot Wide Area Net (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN) Securities.

Your Mission:

* Advice on network security strategies, design, integration, deployment, daily management and debugging of Local Area Network security solutions
* Strong authentication solutions (multi-factor authentication, token-based, SMS one time password, etc.)
* Administration of Firewall systems, content inspection, Firewall statistics and related security tools
* Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
* Virtual network security solutions (ie virtualisation of network security devices such as virtual Firewalls)
* Networking and network security solutions in virtual server environments
* Administration of Web Filtering Solutions
* IP Telephony solutions and related network security-related solutions
* Drafting of network related documentation (Plans, schemas, manuals, reports, etc.)
* Technical training and guidance

Qualifications:
* Good knowledge of WAN technologies (IP switching, satellite communication, ADSL)
* Familiar with networking security services in Microsoft environments
* Knowledge of networking and network security solutions in virtual server environments
* Familiar with virtual network security solutions (ie virtualisation of network security devices such as virtual Firewalls), Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions
* Knowledge of VPN and encryption systems
* Good knowledge of wireless network technologies (in particular WLAN Wi-Fi)
* Familiar with IP Telephony solutions and related network security-related solutions
* Knowledge of Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)

The following certifications represent a strong asset:
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
* Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
* Blue Coat Security Certification (Blue Coat proxySG)
* Juniper Networks Certified Specialist FWV (JNCIS-FWV)

Methodologies:
* ITIL framework and methodology
* Project Management (Prince2, PMI or equivalent)

Soft skills

The ability to communicate network solutions to peers and management.
