Network Security Engineer (SIEM)

Yoh has a SIX (6) MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for a NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER to join our client in LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Network Security Engineer will be required to perform engineering and operations support for all security related issues.
- The potential candidate must be able to adapt to changing landscapes and apply security principles across multiple vendor platforms. This includes advanced troubleshooting techniques (ie fw monitor, debugs, etc.), packet tracing, log analysis, and policy analysis.
- This position also requires customer interface via email, telephone, and occasionally in person.
- Analyze large volumes of data, follow up on and resolve open issues, communicate to both customers and technical teams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years of enterprise experience in a related field.
- The candidate MUST HAVE a strong and current background in Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
- Candidate must be able to investigate complex issue across multiple security vendors.
- The candidate SHOULD HAVE enterprise experience with multiple security appliances and basic networking. This should include, McAfee IPS (McAfee, Juniper), Juniper ScreenOS Firewalls, Cisco ASA, Imperva Web Application Firewall, Tripwire Enterprise, TopLayer IPS, CheckPoint Firewall, and Firewall audit tools (Tufin, Firemon).
- Basic Networking (ie CISCO).
- The candidate must be able to effectively communicate.
