NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEERING
My client, who operates within the logistics domain and are based in Brussels are currently looking for a Network Security Engineering.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checkpoint NGFW
- Expertise on managing the appliances (network wise, and Firewall wise), SmartConsole and SmartEvent is a must
- Expertise on version >= R80 is highly wanted, >= R77 is sufficient
- F5 BigIP
- Expertise on core appliance functionality (eg system setup/management, LTM) is a must
- Expertise on ASM is highly wanted
- Due to the above two items (eg for configuration and/or troubleshooting purposes):
- Thorough working knowledge of networking protocols (OSPF, ) and standards
- Anything else toughing (network) security (other technologies, brands, ) is a plus but will not compensate for the lack of one of the above.
- Needs to be comfortable working in a 24/7 99.99% uptime context (needs to be able to handle stress, be thorough in his/her actions)
- Will optionally be put on-call (eg 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off call)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Needed languages: English Mandatory, Dutch is a plus
