Network/Security Design Engineer

NETWORK/SECURITY ENGINEER CONTRACT - IMMEDIATE START 3 MONTH INITIAL TERM - CBD LOCATION - EXTENSIONS

Our client is one of Australia's leading financial services providers. They have built a strong and significant reputation in the banking arena. This is a senior position within an existing team.
You will be contracting to this organisation to provide your expertise with system security and networking.

NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER

The engineers will be required to assist with the detailed design, technical drawings, implementation plans and project delivery across multiple LAN environments encompassing the following vendors:
Juniper F5 Checkpoint Cisco Nexus Netscreen
You should have industry certs of the above technologies and proven hands on experience at a senior level managing multi security domains to be considered for this role.
Technically, we're looking for a strong mix of the following essential technologies within the security role: Experience with LAN network architecture tools, methodologies and best practices Expert knowledge of Cisco Network devices (Cisco 3750 Switches, 6500, Nexus 7k,5k,2k Switches) Expert knowledge of Juniper SRX 5800 and Netscreen SSG 5400 Expert knowledge of IP routing (OSPF, BGP) Expert knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls and Manager (VSX, Provider-1) Expert knowledge of Juniper JUNOS, SCREENOS, VSYS and IPSEC VPN Expert knowledge of HSRP, VRRP, VRF concepts Expert knowledge of Layer3 (TCP/IP) and Layer 2(VLAN, Trunks) technologies Expert knowledge of F5 Load Balancers (LTM and GTM)
