Network Security Architect - CCIE

- Long term, Secure Contract - $65-$100 p.h

You will be responsible for the infrastructure architecture design, evaluating project requirements and developing architecture solutions according to Network and Security Policy and Standards. You will be responsible for the project's end-to-end network security compliance while working with multiple engineering teams, developing the Network Security Detailed Design for the project. You will also provide architecture guidance to the project implementation team throughout the project life cycle.

Your skills and experience will include:

- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Network Architect role,
- Understanding of Security principles associated with networks, Internet, email, operating systems, Firewalls, VPNs, databases, virus management, intrusion detection, cryptography and E-commerce, with a deeper specialisation in at least two of these fields.
- Strong knowledge and commercial experience with Checkpoint Firewalls, Netscreen VPNc and Cisco PIX
- Strong knowledge of F5,Webseal, Web Proxy, ASA Datapower.
- Experienced in implementation and management of network/security tools and processes.
- Experience in managing network/security solutions within a large, enterprise environment
- Ability to interact professionally with key clients, stakeholders and service provider.
- A good understanding of current legislation and precedence governing security.
- Good understanding and comprehension of contemporary and emerging security technologies and strategies and their application to enterprise.
