Network Operator and DNS, DHCP Expert (f/m)

Starting date: May 2016
Length of the contract: 36 Months with possibility of extension

Task description:
*Support the development and administration of the companys DNS and DHCP solution; further process the migration of Unix Bind and Windows DNS towards Infoblox appliance based solutions
*Investigate, diagnose and resolve network incidents and problems using available tools and referring to external suppliers if required
*Proactively identifies and communicates improvements to services, technologies, processes and documentation
*Deploy, configure and support of development, test, pre-production and productions systems and environments, integrating business applications under development with the standard infrastructural components and documenting installation and operational procedures for further deployments in Data Centre Operations
*Contribute to the deployment of IT solutions in production by advising on the production impact of planned changes, assisting Data Centre Operations in the roll-out and post implementation
*Provide knowledge transfer to other colleagues in the Data Centre section and ensure sufficient documentation is available

Your profile:
*Masters degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*Experience working with Infoblox DNS DHCP appliances, Cisco Nexus, Cisco WLC, Cisco ISE and with Checkpoint Firewalls
*Managing and operating DNS,DHCP and IPAM services for large installations (more than 2000 users) for LAN and Internet related services
*DNS service migration from Unix/Windows to Infoblox
*Very good knowledge of TCP/IP and IEEE 802.Ethernet-protocol-suite, routing related protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, etc.), security awareness and knowledge of security technologies and best practices
*Good understanding of and experience working with ITIL processes, particularly change, incident and problem management; operating mission-critical IT infrastructure environments, e.g. in financial service, IT hosting or defence industries
*Work in a shift system possible
*On-call duties possible
*Very good command of English with proven drafting ability
