Network Operator and CoreNet 3 Technical Service Manager (f/m)

Length of the contract: 3 years with possibility of extension

Task description:
*Responsible for controlling the banks trans-European network service provider, participate and understand the changes suggested by the provider, verify the provided service against the existing SLA and compile the quarterly report for the participating national banks
*Support service development processes by performing technical transitions - act as single point of contact for project teams, ensuring that the resource requirements are understood and timely communicated to respective team leader and Principal IT Expert; plan, prepare and execute technical transition tests
*Deploy, configure and support development, test, pre-production and productions systems and environments, integrating business applications under development with the standard infrastructural components and documenting installation and operational procedures for further deployments in Data Centre Operations
*Contribute to the deployment of IT solutions in production by advising on the production impact of planned changes, assisting Data Centre Operations in the rollout and post implementation
*Investigate, diagnose and resolve network incidents and problems using available tools and referring to external suppliers if required
*Provide knowledge transfer to other colleagues in the Data Centre section and ensure sufficient documentation is available

Your profile:
*Engineering and design experience
*Masters degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*Experience in provider management for large international networks
*Experience working with ITIL processes, particularly change, incident and problem management, operating mission-critical IT infrastructure environments (e.g. in financial service, IT hosting or defence industries) and working in mixed vendor environments
*Experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ISE, Checkpoint and F5 Load Balancers, with a certification for at least one of the product families
*Very good knowledge of TCP/IP and IEEE 802.Ethernet-protocol-suite, routing related protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, etc.), security awareness and knowledge of security technologies, best practices, encryption algorithms, protocols and devices, authentication methods, WLAN technologies
*On-call duties possible
*Work in a shift system possible
*Very good command of English with proven drafting ability
