Network Operations Consultant (NOC) - Managed Services

Projektbeschreibung
JOB SYNOPSIS:
- Manage communication flow of trouble tickets among the several competence groups in NOC and care organization
- Provide escalation support for NOC FO on fault handling & customer complaints
- Take ownership of relevant change requests & action all change requests received
- Review NOC BO performance to ensure that all planned (technical) expansion is done correctly and within deadlines.
- Ensure that all levels of network maintenance and support are utilized correctly and in a timely manner in line with contractually agreed service levels
- Review daily/weekly reports reflecting network availability
- Analyzing the weekly report reflecting TT, WO, Outages, Availability and Alarms for the whole network elements
- Investigate/escalate any QOS degradation
- Ensure that any SW upgrade taken place by the vendor is done correctly
- Deal with Field Maintenance for any TT issued from the FO regarding any Alarm
- Checking network performance on daily basis and take action in case of any KPI exceeding the target
- Manage the implementation/development of relevant MS processes
- Ensure that all related internal/external audits are done properly
- Work with QA Team to enhance procedures/Processes and close any finding related to NOC
- Coordination with Information Security department to ensure that no un-authorized access to any of the network element is allowed. Developing and implementing procedures to enhance the level of network security.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL-SET:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a technical role with wireless telecommunications
- Experience leading or project managing small to medium project teams
- Experienced computer skills (eg Windows, UNIX)
- Technical Team lead of a team size of 5 for at least six months
- Course work with an emphasis on wireless/cellular communications is preferred
- Advanced knowledge through prior experience, of processes and procedures of cost and service driven telecommunications organisations
- Flexibility to perform tasks required by the job
- Team player who is willing to work under aggressive project timelines.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to make presentations via web or live to groups with more than 10 people
- Ability to coordinate conference calls and meetings with client, develop and deliver action items and ensure all activities are followed through to conclusion
- Willingness to travel and be deployed to projects on short notice
