Network Lead

Exciting new opportunity for a Network Lead to work for a Oil & Gas service company in the Aberdeen area.

You will work as a Global network lead, heading up all network & VoIP projects as well as becoming involved in occasional projects internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a senior role within a major international organisation.

Role Description:
Under general supervision, possesses overall responsibility for resolving complex electronic communications hardware and software problems. Function as job lead providing guidance and training for less experienced personnel. Directs, monitors, and assigns work to other communications personnel. Interfaces with vendor support service groups and provides internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or down periods. Supervises others; allocates and monitors work, coordinates similar activities within a functional area. Interprets and applies directions originating at a higher level. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

International travel is required at times to field offices

To apply you will need experience working as network lead working on an enterprise level network.

Core skills required include:
Cisco Switching & Routing
Cisco Call Manager
Bluecoat
Juniper

CCNP / CCVP / CCIE certification is highly desirable but not essential.

Location:Aberdeen
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000
Type: Permanent
