Network Infrastructure Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support the integration and deployment of the SAS Platforms.
- Leads cross-functional teams to complete projects within allotted timeline and budget.
- Takes technical projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Manages the definition of project scope and objectives.
- Exercises latitude in determining objectives/approaches to projects.
- Leads multiple small to medium-sized projects and technical breadth.
- Develops detailed work plans (Using Microsoft Project), schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
- Solves unique problems through evaluative judgment/precedent.
- Independently applies sophisticated analysis in evaluating issues.
- Develops new concepts/methods/techniques for cross-functional initiatives.
- Contributes through proven technical expertise.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least 10 years of successful Project Management or related experience in a highly technical environment.
- Knowledge SME within Network Infrastructure Project Management.
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of MS Project and Visio.
- Experience with IP Routing and Switching equipment.
- Intermediate knowledge of other disciplines/specialty areas: regulatory - e911, CALEA and LCS.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Telecom experience is a tremendous plus.
- PMP certification is preferred.
