ROLE: NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST

LOCATION: COLUMBIA, NC

DURATION: 12MONTHS +

JOB DESCRIPTION:
30% -- Provides infrastructure design representation during the request for proposal process. Responsible for addressing and responding to the complex functional elements of requests for proposals/information. Determines the setting of technical direction based on interaction with the architectural staff.
20% -- Communicates designed solutions to infrastructure deployment areas.
15% -- Designs infrastructure solutions within set architectural framework, ensuring cost effectiveness and enforcement of architectural standards.
15% -- Captures and documents business/technical requirements by communicating with customers.
10% -- Completes infrastructure estimating and consultation. Reviews high-level estimates to determine infrastructure impact and to provide estimation of hours required for the assignment.
10% -- Performs technical oversight/review and approval of less experienced team members and their work.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Comp Sci, IT, or related OR Associates degree in related field + extra 2 years related work exp. OR Extra 4 years related work exp.
Experience with server and network infrastructure - Required 8 years
Experience with infrastructure design in support of application and/or infrastructure needs - required 8 years
Experience with Design Tools like MS Word & MS Visio
