Low Latency Network Engineer - High Frequency Trading House Salary: Negotiable (£70K and upwards) with strong trading house bonus Location:London A high frequency trading/proprietary trading house inLondonis looking to hire a High Frequency/Low latency Trading Network specialist to join their specialised trading infrastructure team. The entire business is driven by technology and the trading platform relies on the network engineers to implement and optimize revolutionary technology solutions to ensure speed and stability of the associated networking infrastructure. Ideal skills/experiences: * Expert knowledge of various routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) * Experience designing, deploying and supporting high-performance, low-latency networks with complex multicast requirements * Architectural experience of LAN and WAN technologies with a detailed understanding of network and systems integration * Knowledge of and experience with multiple switch and router vendors (Cisco/Arista..) * Industry recognized certification such as CCNP/CCIE, ACE all desirable Because the role is within a trading house which is so heavily technology driven, the engineer will get huge exposure to both the technical and business side, so as well as working on design/implementation and support of the networks there will also be project delivery, exchange connectivity, working with vendors, research and learning new cutting edge low latency technologies.
